Blindfolded

Assumptions
We all do it when we have
doubts, suspicions, or
wanting to know more.

It’s considered foolish
looking at a person at first glance.
Sometimes it’s even irritating to hear
someone assume the worse.
I kick myself for doing it too.

We’re not perfect,
but that doesn’t mean we have to presume
every time.
What we think we know,
is not always true.
And how are we suppose to find the sincerity
when our understanding blinds us?
